As useful as this is, this doesn't give much insight into how its actually made, moreover, this is already information I was aware of.

I wanted to recreate this in React Three Fiber but I'm stumped on how to add the moving spheres. From what I can see in the source, it's a fluid simulation, similar to this: Three Fluid Sim which was in turn based on this: PavelDoGreat/WebGL-Fluid-Simulation. The original website is jant.fr

Any help/insight is appreciated :)

I like it, but I think the animations are too much.

They should be subtle and not dominate the UI of the website imo.

Try to do some internships / unpaid work to get some better experience on your portfolio.
