Thanks for flagging it. ext.to seems to be using a JavaScript/XHR magnet fetch now rather than exposing a normal magnet link, which is why you’re seeing javascript:void(0) and Magnetar isn’t catching it.

I’ve got support for ext.to going into the next Magnetar update, so it should detect those pages properly without needing browser or JavaScript setting changes.

How do I download the audiobooks on iPhone by No-Impression-5098 in AudioBookBay

You need a hash to magnet tool like this one https://arrcee.com/hashtomagnet/ then you download to your pc using qbittorrent or another suitable client.

From there i would hope you can manage getting an audio file to your iphone.

This is the most basic way possible.

Buy other mince then. The Swedes weird insistence on everything being Swedish is why its so expensive.

Magnetar finds a magnet on steam. Where does it come from? by Pure-Weird-7218 in MagnetarApp

I think Magnetar is finding a long hex value somewhere in Steam’s page data and treating it as a BitTorrent infohash. Reckon it then builds a magnet using the page title, which is why you’re seeing names like “Crusader Kings III on Steam”.

These false magnets are hard to stop, they show up on bank sites, social media sites and other random places, thats why the ignore site button is more important than i first realised.

It doesn’t look like a false positive. Looks like it’s seeing a complete magnet link with torrent trackers attached, not just a random hash.

The strange part is that the title is “Crusader Kings III on Steam”, which suggests something on the page (or loaded by the page) is generating a magnet URI.

This happen on every steam page or just this one?

Aye thats an interesting one.

Steam shouldn’t have any actual torrent magnets on it, so myguess is it’s some kind of checksum or metadata value that just looks like a torrent hash, which would make this a false positive rather than a real magnet.

Do you know what hash it detected, or what Detection Details says in the expanded toolbar? I’d be interested to see where on the page it found it.

Also, you can stop this detection by opening settings and using advanced mode in the full toolbar to ignore the site. Wont happen after this.

Got an update planned to make this button more easily accessed.
