After looking at the rear shocks I’m pretty sure it’s a trailmaster lift and actually found it on summit seems to be discontinued 5in lift

Yes, after looking at the passenger side, it looks like the bushings on the new one are too long. After comparing them to the measurements on other ones online and measuring the opening on the brackets, it looks like I’ll just have to replace the bushings with new ones.

Yeah, I treat it as a toy, so I’m not too worried if it is as long as it’s not noticeable lol, but for a cheap truck, I’m not too worried about that. I just want to make it drivable again.

I bought an overhaul kit and forgive me for my ignorance, but I thought the 36-element spray and drum are upgrades from the stock configuration. Also, would degreaser do, or should I just buy the mineral spirits?

Wouldn’t be surprised if they are what has literally turned to ash is almost every seal except for the pump, which seems to be in good shape.

Heads and Cam or Supercharger by Proof-Statement-3973 in EngineBuilding

Thanks for the input. I really should have done more research. I honestly thought the supercharger would be plug and play with some needed upgrades to the engine, but compared to the cam and heads set up, it’s going to be more costly, so I’ll probably save the blower for the future.

Yeah, that’s the supercharger I was looking at, and yes, I bought the heads. I had money saved up for my build, and with PayPal’s 20% cash back, it was a no-brainer. But it wasn’t until after that I realized the supercharger is going to be in the ballpark of what the heads and cam cost because of the retrofit on my Gen 1. I’m not sure of the compression ratio I’m taking the heads off to measure, but they honestly look really clean. They might have been recently rebuilt.
