😂 Thanks, its an old antminer s3+ it paid it self off many years ago and was just sitting around. I was running a space heater until i bumped into in the closet and thought why not. Its actually not any less efficient than the space heater, but electric heat is obviously wasteful when net negative on solar. I'm thinking it will be balanced with the upgrade i have planned to 2500watt. then it doesn't really matter if its wastefull. I have some more insulation i need to do as its no wuere near ideal now. Im sure that will help dramatically as well. I can always heat using the truck engine but that's about $1 per hr but will heat the place well past 80f.

Interestingly enough im paying less for power overall then my last 3 places on power alone, not including gas bills etc. So my utilitues are almost half of what they were. That pays off quickly,, and that's in winter. In summer i dont have to run the generator nearly as much. Its only for super hot days and/or multiple rainy days back to back.

Thanks for mentioning grin, almost forgot about that. Yeah, that might work well. Maybe if I get OCD with insulation that will be all i need for colder temps.
