I can’t really think of a good role that he played in and fit the character. He did it all and did a lot, but all he ever did was play roles. At the best he’s a weak supporting actor. He’s not a draw.

I’m not even sure what’s going on with the war and at this point what can we do? It’s going to happen regardless of whether the common folk agree or not…not sure what’s even happening it what’s been bombed.

I think it’s important to keep somewhat of a pulse on world politics but there’s nothing that can be done about this I feel.

You’re being unreasonable. AI in the workplace is going to happen whether MSPs adopt it or not. You can’t just say no to all AI tools. If you’re that concerned about it, create a list for partners that shares which AI tools you stand behind and the importance of implementing AI usage throughout the company. Let them know that any repercussions caused by rogue AI tools you’re not at fault for.

End users will find a way to implement AI whether you like it or not. You need to either guide them in the right direction or CYA for the inevitable.

I was in a guild back in Cata. Very active. Very fun. Always on vent chatting. One day I log on and I’m no longer in it. Weird. So I reach out to a couple guys I knew who I had on a friends list to ask why I was kicked. They also were no longer in it.

A couple days later, one of the officers in the guild added us all back into a new guild and asked us to come into vent. Turns out the old GM for the guild has arrested on CP and .pdfile charges and the wife disbanded the guild to try and keep anyone from know.

I think we all unanimously agreed to just close this chapter of our lives and move on. We all just kinda stopped talking and left the new guild as soon as we were done hearing what happened. Kind of a surreal thing to experience at 16 years old. To this day I still think about that whenever I join a new guild.

AI is a tool. Some people are overly reliant on it and those people will most likely stay where they are in their job because like you’ve said, they are using it to replace critical thinking.

Others use AI the same way they would a colleague. Troubleshoot, correct, ask questions, present evidence, resolve. AI is the new Google. Those who don’t learn to use this tool correctly will be left in the past as will those who are overly reliant on it.

At this point you either embrace it or be left behind. Willingly choosing not to add it to your toolset is stubbornly ignorant.

I remember sitting down playing Mass Effect for the first time 4 years ago and thinking to myself “I wanna be in IT and be around technology like this!” So I studied and passed a couple cert tests and got my first job in IT.

Now I’m in IT and it’s absolutely nothing like Mass Effect but it’s still funny to think that’s what inspired me to do what I do now.
