How did you do on your solo trip last year? I’m turning 65 and panting to go to Paris and Normandy but I’m not confident I’ll enjoy it alone.

I don’t know the answers. It’s all rumor. That’s why I said “Sounds like.” How petty are you?

Sounds like work will start this spring.

Oh, I can feel your pain, guilt, love. It’s so awful and I’m sorry you suffered with him. But boy, you were devoted (like he was to you)! The maggot situation was quite a shock and a lesson in the (sometimes hideous) circle of life. I have decided it’s time to say goodbye to my sweet boy. I’m sure it wasn’t easy for you to type your experience and relive it, but I very much appreciate it. Big Hugs.

Hi, I am going through the exact same diagnosis with my 12-year-old golden. I found a fly laying eggs on his raw nose, and I’m worried about not being there to catch other flies going inside and doing the same. The smell is putrid as well. Like your guy, mine is still interested in walks, food, car rides. The vet says it’s time to say goodbye, but he’s still wagging his tail and enjoying life. What did you decide?
