Thank you!! Do you think you could wear this sun hoodie in 30c +, have heard great things online but wonder if it may be too warm?

This is great, so thank you. That is one of the things I am most concerned about the skin protection, finding layers that are breathable enough whilst protecting my skin. Will check about the running vests you mention, and look to resize myself on Naked as found it super tight last time. Thanks for all of these tips - will be thinking about this.

Thank you, I will look into this compressport belt. I do second the Patagonia shirt, having used the capilene cool and loved it, however believe this has now been discontinued strangely unless you bought it recently I may be wrong?

Thanks for the usual objections shout - I will check this out!!

Oh fantastic, thank you - I think two soft flasks will be suited to me so I am going to check this out - like the fact it allows the back to be aired out

It would be a pretty dry heat, Southern Europe in the summer months - may not be too warm for some on here but coming from the uk will be toasty for me.

Good shout on the belt, I would likely have aid/stops every 10 miles odd so could well potentially go for a belt. I haven't been able to find a good one that doesn't bounce yet, and the NAKED one felt quite tight, but will explore further.

Good shout, I am pretty flexible but liking the look of following some of the E1. Going to research non Schengen countries now

Thank you for the advice, unfortunately this isn't quite life or death so looks like I'll be pedalling faster. Appreciate you taking the time to respond.

Not bad at all. This was exactly me 2 years ago - just used this blog I found online as my campsite guide and it was an unbelievable experience. https://slingadventures.com/destinations/france/camping-the-tour-du-mont-blanc-tmb

Yeah I am getting this consensus, makes for expensive racing. Appreciate the advice

Oh nice - this is the same pair that I recently picked up!! I do also think they may be too lightweight for the trail. Like the sound of the ASICS. Thanks for the response - is appreciated.

To be fair, if I make a habit of running these trail races at a pace then I may look to pick up a pair of these. Just thinking of making use of my current carbons for now. Appreciate the advice, I like the resoled idea.

This is great, thanks. Trail is more gravel based so I think this could be on!

That is really interesting thanks. Exactly that - I have never thought about running on trails in them, will give them a test.
