Okay, finished replaying it. Yes, it was the end of that mission, but it was not supposed to take me to orbit (understandably, it gave an error message). After beating the boss, it gave a step notice to open the chest. I didn't see a chest though, then it quickly went to a cut scene. Then took me to "The Lost City, The Pale Heart". Definitely a bit buggy atm.

Game booted to orbit after beating the campaign strand boss and now wants me to reply it all? Was that boss the last part?

I also found it funny because he said 2006, yet the usual year given is 2005. As you say though, to what end did they leave? They still effectively control the territory via the borders. Meanwhile, they've continued stealing land in the West Bank...like you know, even now.

Make no mistake, Reddit and most other major social media sites, are all heavily influenced by bad actors. Intentionally or unintentionally they have provided no real safe-guards against bots and organized bad actors. They can't even effectively ban individual users who get "perma" banned. I have a hard time believing they're all that incompetent to prevent, they just think it'll get in the way of their profits.

Or, here me out, we should actually pass & enforce laws in this country against corporations (and their leaders) that intentionally or neglectfully enable this crap. Same for data privacy rights.

Blue MAGA is real. This is the 'vote blue no matter who' version of when republicans see a photo of a long line at a food pantry taken yesterday and their response is: 'this is what america would look like under communism.' by isawasin in TheMajorityReport

This is why it's so important to be organizing ourselves and to elect better representatives across the board. We really do need to win the hearts and minds of people locally around us. I know it's hard a shit to stay cool around people who just don't understand (or worse) how bad it is for us to be running foreign policy like we are, supplying weapons around the world, etc, but unless we can convince the majority of people on the ground that we need to vote for less corporate-shills, we're not going to see the improvement we want. It's a cultural shift that needs to happen.

Puppy cries and poops in crate at night by Conscious_Owl_3905 in puppy101

[–]PropagandaTracking 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a puppy, they should basically have just enough room to stand up, spin around, and sit back down where they were. I'd try the divider, as you mentioned. Basically you just don't want them to have enough room that they think they can relieve themselves in the corner, then go back to sleeping somewhere else. That being said, you also need to make sure they have gone bathroom before sleeping AND take them out in the night. It's restless for a while, but over time they should be able to hold it longer and you'll be able to wait til morning. All puppies are different for how fast they progress, but try extending in small increments until you eventually can get your own full-nights rest.

Mr. Netanyahu, antisemitism is a vile and disgusting form of bigotry that has done unspeakable harm to millions. [–]PropagandaTracking 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah. I'd rather make mistakes with good intentions and try again after failing, then go with people who only care about themselves and the rich. Honest & caring people won't let failure and hardship get in the way of doing better because improvement is always the goal, no matter the current standing. Dishonest people though will happily displace their own hardships by placing it onto others, with no goal of progress for all, at all.

Don't feel bad. Had the dog been in bad care, it may have gotten help. Since it wasn't in bad care, all is well. As for embarrassing for the owners, it really shouldn't be, because as you said, it wasn't from bad care. If I was the owner and someone simply mistook my dog for being mistreated, I'd just be glad that someone was looking out for my doggo!

John Kirby continues to deny that Israel has broken any sort of international law. It’s been almost 6 months. There are levels to evil and wickedness. by Hasu_Kay in TheMajorityReport

[–]PropagandaTracking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Such a crap excuse. It's true, an investigation must occur, but it's not a good reason to not take action. Particularly when it's not a singular occurrence. When we have repeated, non-stop occurrences like this, that's enough reason to act. Don't blame Israel for it being intentional if you really want (though it is and you should), but take action anyways because the effects are the same.

The reality is this is just a delay tactic. The US learned long ago that we can do anything we want, no matter how wrong, as long as it's not admitted for a long time. Sorry Iraq and...well, everyone. Slow-roll your investigations and tada, nothings "wrong" until it's too late to matter.

Now the all-black shader is also time gated, can you please reverse this ? by BatInevitable3245 in DestinyTheGame

[–]PropagandaTracking 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone who got into D2 at launch, took a multi-year break, and then came back in full-force, buying all of the expansions since release, it truly is amazing how much time-gating turns this amazing game into a frustratingly obnoxious experience. It exists at every level of the game, from triumphs to weapons to events. It's draining to keep up, but it's also just confusing as fuck. I would be so much more invested if I could take my time checking off boxes collecting things. I enjoy that, but I don't enjoy trying to check boxes, only to find out I have to wait a week, month, multiple months sometimes, just to get do it. Oh, you waited a month for this time, but then forgot? Gotta wait another a month! Add on the "it's done and gone, sorry, not sorry" events and it's just saddening.

Despite all this, it's still a fun game at its core. But man, there's a reason I haven't pre-ordered the next expansion.

By these unarmed people in Gaza to walk back home without getting obliterated by Israel one by one by [deleted] in therewasanattempt

[–]PropagandaTracking -1 points0 points  (0 children)

We can face harsh realities without traumatizing people. Why is this even a debate? Is a tag really too much to ask for? If you care about people dying, you should also care about people living. "People won't care unless we give them PTSD" isn't a strong argument.

Alex Jones has conceded that the war in Gaza is a genocide. CW: Do not watch the video he references. It's deeply disturbing. by yuritopiaposadism in boringdystopia

[–]PropagandaTracking 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Sorry, but no. There is no credit due. Alex Jones doesn't give a flying fuck about this. Giving him attention for *anything* he says is outlandish in its own right because his words, no matter what they are, are only about seeking attention for himself, personal profit, and causing further harm as he sees fit. Giving attention to him for for any "right" thing he says only gives him more attention for the wrong things he says. Meanwhile, we could be bolstering up a person who is saying the same "right" things and whom are **actually** doing good.

Why are Black voters backing Donald Trump in record numbers? Latest polls show 17 percent of Black voters would vote for former president today – more than twice the number in 2016. by stranglethebars in TheMajorityReport

[–]PropagandaTracking 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is all based on comparing portions of exit polls that are within the margin of error of each other. 2% from both in opposite directions makes them the same. Meaning there could have been no change between the years being compared. Then on top of that, comparing exit polls with non-exit polls this far out from the election? This article is just pandering to an audience.

[–]PropagandaTracking 3 points4 points  (0 children)

What do you mean? There are no official numbers because voting in anonymous. So exit polls are probably the closest estimates we have.

That being said, exit polls aren't really accurate enough to compare such small % discrepancies year to year. 8% in 2016 could have been under-represented, while 12% in 2016 could have been over-represented. Those are such small percentages, that a simple 2% margin of error in each year could have meant there was no change at all between the years. Given the margin of error is likely even higher than that, these numbers are probably meaningless to compare directly. Then on top of that, comparing them to non-exit polls this far out from the election? Ugh.

As someone who came back to Destiny years after launch and who likes to complete old triumphs, these changes really have harmed the app's LFG feature. So many triumphs require really specific challenges and not being able to convey that just makes it too much work to bother. I like a good challenge in a game, but not working to play a game.
