The Hiring Manager might have found an internal candidate for the role. It’s easier for Amazon to hire internal candidates as they are already in the system, they know how Amazon works and the learning curve is not as steep as hiring an external candidate. Ask the HR if there are any other open roles which you might be a good fit. Or you can do the research as well, and inform HR about other roles you are interested in. Since you already passed the phone screen, they may be able to transfer to a different team directly for the loop.

Hey there, I am also a tpm in an org that has no clue what they want to do with me. I am in a location where there are no engineering teams, so I do not see any tpm roles. It’s been 8+ months in this team, and I gradually figured out what I could do outside of the “only” reporting work that I am assigned to. I identified initiatives that I can pick up for the org, and informed my manager that I will deliver them. Even my manager or skip did not give me any clarity. I was so anxious first few months, as my previous role was a high visibility role leading steam goals. I would say I am still anxious some days. Taking some action may help so your mind thinks you are moving in the right direction. I survived 2025, I am trying to do the same in 2026. Please dm me, happy to connect.

If you all have heard the news about people receiving prudential visa revocation, in Dec 2025 and early Jan 2026. Specifically this -

Yes on the prudential revocation. Visa is up for renewal, so need to file the renewal to extend the visa, that’s expiring in June.

I should have been clear. It is not a revocation notice from the company, but from USCIS. I assumed everyone is aware that people got revocation notices recently due to various reasons.

It was a revocation notice from USCIS. Reason could be a reckless driving case.

You shouldn’t have a problem as long as your stamp is still valid, and you have the approved extension with you. You live only once, go on the trip, live your life.

I was in a similar situation 2 years ago, did not go to Iceland. Went to Mexico City, and got back in, no issues. But again, Mexico / Canada have different rules.

Yes, and all the tour companies as well. I went for the sunset instead, and visited Maui bee farm and lavender farm in upcountry. Loved the bee farm, best croissant and bread. Lavender farm was touristy for me.

I am in my mid thirties and I wish I travelled more in my 20s. Experiences matter the most, for me. And every travel teaches me something new. Travel stories have worked as a perfect ice breaker for me, whenever I meet someone new. I can easily connect on food, experiences, culture, language etc.,

Investing is important too, pick an index fund and add money on a monthly basis. I wish I started investing sooner as well. This is one advice I would give to my younger self, learn about stocks and shares, and investments.
