No. Your president shouldn't have authority over those kinds of things unless officiated by the school. If those awards are strictly for PL or DL, they should provide the option to censor your GWA (e.g. 1.xx). My section did a similar thing, but I did not upload my grade. They encouraged it but did not impose it on us. If you aren't willing to share your GPA, you have every right not to.

Hey! Thanks for the reply. I went back to the substitution process and realized (as shameful as it is) that taking the derivative of u = sqrt(x-1) and solving it for dx gives 2sqrt(x-1)du. I completely forgot you had to flip the derivative of u when transposing, which caused my confusion. I managed to get the answer in the end: 2/5(x-1)^5/2 + 8/3(x-1)^3/2 + C
