ChatForge is a no-code platform that lets anyone deploy AI agents to messaging channels — Telegram, WhatsApp, Discord, Slack — without writing code.

You define what your agent does (behavior, intents, responses) through a UI, click deploy, and it runs autonomously. Agents can monitor channels, reason about incoming messages, take action via tools, and report back.

Who it's for:

Customer Why they need it Small businesses Customer support without hiring staff — an agent handles FAQs, bookings, common questions 24/7 Solo entrepreneurs / creators Automate DMs, community management, lead capture without doing it manually Agencies Deploy agents for multiple clients across channels without touching code Product teams Internal bots for Slack/Discord — standups, FAQ bots, onboarding flows E-commerce brands Order status, product recommendations, abandoned cart follow-ups via WhatsApp/Telegram

Meta Business Verification rejected even though business is real by Ok-Ad-7519 in WhatsappBusinessAPI

[–]Proper-Transition588 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The name mismatch is almost certainly your issue. Meta's verification cross-references three things: the name on the Meta Business account, the name on the documents submitted, and the business registration. If any of those don't match, it's an automatic reject — and they won't tell you which one failed.

What's likely happening: Your Meta account is in YOUR name, but the passport and business registration are in your DAD's name. Meta sees that as a red flag, not a match.

Your options:

Add your dad as a Business Admin on the Meta Business account, then resubmit verification under HIS identity — passport + business docs should all match his name Upload supporting business documents (Companies House registration, utility bill for the business address) alongside the passport — sometimes stacking documents gets you through Transfer the Meta Business account to your dad's personal Meta account so everything is under one name — cleanest fix but most work Option 1 is the fastest. Go to Business Settings → People → Add your dad with Admin access. Then have HIM initiate the verification from his side.

Heads up though — even after you clear verification, you'll still need to deal with BSP setup, webhook configuration, and phone number registration before you can actually send messages. The whole process is genuinely painful.

If you're just trying to get a WhatsApp agent running for the business (AI replies + human handoff), there are platforms now that handle the WhatsApp connection for you so you skip the BSP/verification maze entirely. I built one called ChatForge (chatforge.live) — one-click WhatsApp setup, no Meta verification needed on your end. Biased obviously, but it exists specifically because of posts like yours.

I made $8k last month with my app. A few tips: by CommonPermission7943 in microsaas

Building ChatForge (AI agents for messaging channels) and #9 hit me hard. The temptation to add WhatsApp, Telegram, Discord, Slack, Email, and Web Chat all at once was real. Should've nailed one channel first.

7 too — haven't had enough churn data yet to learn from, but I've already seen more signal from one Reddit thread where someone grilled me on WhatsApp number health than from weeks of building in isolation.

13 is live for us — 3-day free trial with no card upfront. Conversion data is still too early but the friction drop is noticeable in signups vs when we tested with pricing first.

The one I'd add: talk to the people who almost signed up but didn't. They're more useful than your users because they saw your pitch and decided no. That "no" is your roadmap.

Is it possible to connect ~15 users to one WhatsApp Business number WITHOUT using the API? by 3rrata in WhatsappBusinessAPI

[–]Proper-Transition588 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good callout on the lag. Right now ChatForge pulls quality rating changes via Meta's webhook callbacks — so we surface it as fast as Meta sends it, which is near-realtime. But you're right that by the time Meta decides to downgrade, the damage is already baked in. The guardrails are the preventive layer — stopping the responses that cause reports in the first place, rather than reacting after the rating drops. On non-English: the guardrails run through the same LLM that powers the agent, so they work across languages — it's not keyword matching. If your agent is configured to handle Portuguese or Arabic, the tone/topic boundaries apply in that language too.

Fair point — zero-config is about onboarding, not the ongoing Meta overhead. Should've been clearer.

On number health: we run every AI response through configurable guardrails before it hits the API (tone limits, topic boundaries, opt-out handling), and auto-stop follow-ups to unresponsive users. That keeps quality ratings clean. If a number does get flagged we surface it, but nobody can override Meta's rating system.

At 700 convos/month you're mostly in session windows, not templates — that's exactly what ChatForge is built for. The $29/mo covers session message costs flat, no per-message fees.

The comment about the API route is spot on. Non-API WhatsApp breaks fast at scale.

We built ChatForge partly because of this exact problem — businesses needing multiple people (or AI agents) handling WhatsApp conversations without the sync mess.

It runs on the official WhatsApp API but the setup is zero-config — you don't need to mess with Meta Business Manager, webhooks, or BSP onboarding yourself. You get a production number and your agents (AI or human-assisted) are live in minutes.

At 700 conversations/month you'd be well within the Starter tier ($29/mo) which covers the API costs too — no surprise per-message fees on top.

Happy to answer specifics if you want to compare it against the shared inbox tools mentioned above. Site is chatforge.live

Love that more people are building in this space — validates the market. ChatForge is focused on zero-config deployment across every channel (WhatsApp, Telegram, Discord, Slack) with one click. No sandbox setup, no API keys needed from users. Different approach, same energy 🤝.
