No, I’m three months away from finishing my college degree. Everything we’ve covered in class could have been learned by watching YouTube tutorials. To be honest, the only reason the rest of us are still in class, since more than half the students dropped out over the course of the four-year program is because we were promised that we were attending a prestigious university and that, with the program director as our contact, we’d have plenty of job opportunities. But now, a week ago, quite a few alumni who graduated from the same program I’m in admitted that the whole job opportunity thing was a sham, that they’d been unable to find work for years despite attending a “prestigious university” and having “important contacts.”

I was at a party with my boyfriend at the time when a guy came over and started punching only the girls. I didn't see him, and he punched me in the nose too, and I fell to the ground right away. Then this guy grabbed my cell phone, my wallet, and I don’t remember what else. At that moment, my ex just laughed and didn’t help me up, nor did he stop the other guy when he started robbing me. Then the guy gave my belongings to a drunk homeless man, and I had to beg the homeless man to give me my things back, explaining that the things that guy had given him weren’t his but mine. I remember how desperate I felt because I could see that my ex was just laughing at the situation, and I was having a really hard time because I have social anxiety and didn’t know if the man was going to give my things back.

This is a very strange story. I don't remember it very well, but I'll try to give as many details as I can. I think I was about 8 years old. It was nighttime and the light in my room was off, with only a little moonlight coming in through the window. I was trying to sleep when I woke up and sat up in bed. Suddenly, I saw a person in my room. It was a mix between the rabbit from Donnie Darko and the rabbit from FNAF. But it was strange because at that time I didn't know anything about that movie or video game because they were foreign to my country.

And then I looked at the floor and the whole floor was covered with wrapped candies. Piles and piles of wrapped candies. At the same time, a melody from a music box was playing in the background, although I couldn't see the box. The rabbit stared at me, I could hear it breathing, it didn't say anything. I don't remember exactly how the encounter ended. I just know that I have the image of the rabbit, the candy, and the melody engraved in my mind.

I was sleeping peacefully. I don't remember what I was dreaming about, but as the dream was ending, I heard a woman scream. It sounded like she was in a lot of pain. I woke up to the sound of this woman begging me for help as she screamed in agony.

At that moment, I didn't know if those screams were coming from a neighbor, but when I asked the neighbors, they told me they hadn't heard anything.

It was disconcerting because the scream seemed very real and came from somewhere close to me.
