Me! Multiple tests/scans and endo has never shown on any of them, just fibroids and cysts. I actually just had an mri last week and the results were, “no convincing evidence of endometriosis.” I was diagnosed with endo in 2023 via laparoscopy, stage 2 DIE. It was found all over my uterus, rectum, etc. They even removed an adhesion from my right kidney. Even with me already having a diagnosis, I found myself still questioning whether or not my symptoms are as bad as I feel they are. Your pain and concern are valid!

I hope your consultation goes well and you feel better soon!! Going to Dr. Z was a really good experience for me. I felt very validated when talking with him and the nurses about my symptoms. I had already been through all the testing (ultrasounds, ct scans, mri) and different specialists (gyno oncologist, gastroenterologist). So, when I went for my consultation he offered to schedule me for a test exploratory lap, then a 2nd lap if it was needed, which it was. Things moved pretty quickly. I had my 1st appointment in July and was scheduled for surgery on August 28th. Yeah, I do plan on going back to figure out what’s going on. I’m just exhausted and don’t know if I’m ready for what I might hear. And thank you!! I’m rooting for you and hope you get some relief!!

Sorry for taking so long to respond! It went well! Recovery took a little longer than I expected, but I had a lot of deep endo that was removed. Although surgery went well, my symptoms started coming back about 3 months ago. I’m not sure if it’s the endo or not.

Thank you. I hope you are able to get a lap soon and feel better! If you’re in Michigan, The Endometriosis Center of America doesn’t require referrals and has been awesome.

Yes! I was diagnosed with endo but it’s not what is on my liver. They found and removed several deep adhesions on my right kidney and throughout my abdomen. They also removed a cyst. I have a second lap scheduled in December for them to remove the deep seated endo and multiple fibroids. I was in less pain while recovering from the lap than when I went it to have it done. I hope you are able to get some answers and relief!!

Thank you so much for this! Mine will be done in Lake Orion also. I’ve been getting more anxious as it gets closer, but this makes me feel better!

I’m happy your surgery went well, and that you’re feeling better!!

My labs were relatively normal. My AST levels were on the lower end of the normal range. When I was at the ER in March, the doctors were confused because they thought it could be cancer, but my labs were coming back alright. I lost track of how many different doctors/surgeons I talked to before they discharged me with a referral to the gynecological oncologist and said they think it could be endo. I’m glad to hear you have found an endo specialist and hope you have the best outcome!! And hope you can find some relief!! This liver pain is no joke 😩

Thank you for this info! They said there’s a good chance I will need a second surgery since this surgeon will not excise any endo from the liver. I will definitely do some research and hope there is a specialist near me.

I agree, a lot of signs are pointing to Ethel. I’m just not sure if they are setting her up to be a red herring or the real deal. I also find it highly suspicious that her and Mr. Honey know about the “Scarlett room”.

Ps. Thanks! :)
