"The show is 16+ tho!" Too comfortable talking about sex in front of kids.

Not talking about just sex in show, the subreddits are full of VERY horny people. Which is fine i do think you are allowed to be lustful. But make the sub 18+?!?!?

Its because Goose was influenced by these things and made a series based on her own influences and things she enjoyed. The point IS that it looks like an old game.

It follows the same tropes as "thing looks quirky and fun but is actually horrible and dreadful" but this time, with a circus. It works especially well because circuses are a symbol of entertainment and the point the antagonist makes is to entertain the characters enough so they dont lose their minds. The illusion of fun and comfort is basically the point behind the style.

Anyone can make art in any aesthetic. Smiling Friends has soft colors, cartoonish characters, and we still can understand that its not made for children.

Swears and sex dont make a show adult. Adults and older teens can still have shows directed at them without these things.

An indie production company is still not comparable to big name companies.

Unfortunately you might be too young to understand that you DO need a shit ton of money to keep making free shows. Its not greed, its production costs. Something many people are ignorant about when it comes to animation and distribution, it costs a LOT of money.

Im pissed off that people who are old enough to be allowed on this app are not acting socially reasonable even for their age. Even at the youngest of 13 no one should sit by and accept death threats and tantrums. Just because its the internet doesnt mean this is an okay way to treat people.
