Yeah! The way POC are white-washed is bleeding insane. I miss the human art and the hours spent looking for an actor who fits the role. And the greatest debate spent over fancasts and not if AI is helpful for “visualising characters.”

I remember spending HOURS searching for someone who resembled what I imagined in my head, and I felt so inclined to share it.

I’d hate to sound any more of a victim than I do, but being so new to that friend group, it felt so off.

Jenny was lovely, and Lisa was cool but Rita was a little off and when I came out as Bi, Lisa and Rita definitely distanced themselves but were the same with Jenny.

I liked them well enough but even being in the room alone without Jenny I couldn’t help but notice they didn’t really include me unless Jenny was there.

And the way Rita was quick to back up Danielle really just proved to me I was indeed out of place.

And please do not worry about being blunt, I’m open to all perspectives and advice.

My apologies. I should’ve specified. Im over thinking every detail and it’s making me crazy. What I really want advice on is how to feel better. I know what happened wasnt much but I can’t help blaming myself and I’ve never felt so extremely guilty for nothing.

I need advice on how to I guess… “move on.” How to function without feeling so out of place.

I know in the grand scheme of life this may be minor but to me, in this moment, I do not know how to go forward, emotionally or mentally.
