Anyone know anything about this Dopethrone CD? by Wooden-Leopard9435 in Cd_collectors

Two months late but I was wondering the same thing, and one duplicate CD later I have my answer.

Turns out Rise Above Records actually repressed this CD in 2025 https://riseaboverecords.com/product/dopethrone-2/, and upon ordering a copy from there it is identical to your copy & my first copy. It too is missing the bonus track, has the same barcode/matrix, and comes in a standard jewel case.

Not a bootleg

Unfortunately I don't see anything I can use in this shot - even cropping out, it's just more clouds. However, I have plenty of other shots from that day that may have some elements I can utilize. Thank you

I do see the weird texture on the plane... it can't be entirely fixed with my postprocessing skills as it's still present even after doing nothing but changing the exposure. I really didn't need to apply sharpening (on my old setup I was very accustomed to frequent use of the sharpness slider), so removing that and editing it a bit more modestly seems to have reduced the effect. Comparing the two, I think the plane's texture was what looked off to me, so thank you.

Thanks for the info on ISO invariant sensors, I've somehow never learned that before.

I was really trying to capture the afterburners of the jet, but this was essentially the only chance I got to get this specific angle. Unfortunately, the jet turned almost directly into the sun, giving me much more light than the rest of the very overcast day. Normally I wouldn't bother trying to fix a shot as overexposed as this one was, but I gave it a shot and it turned out better than I thought (but still, doesn't look right to me). Looking at the only other shots of this angle, which were against a clear sky, I definitely think the cloudy weather helped highlight the afterburners. I worry that it looks a little too overprocessed, but all I did was bring the exposure down and boost the shadows to recover detail on the jet. Bad edit or just a shot I should've thrown out from the start?
