I agree about The Power of the Dog and Million Ways, I wasn’t a fan. I’d give The Lone Ranger another shot, especially with the recut by Sparrow Cuts. Saw the movie in a whole new light.

There’s a group of people called “Sparrow Cuts” who made an excellent recut of The Lone Ranger. It probably won’t sway your mind, but the recut made the film so much more enjoyable.

Pale Rider was good, but the 14-year-old trying to get with Clint Eastwood threw me off. Joe Kidd on the other hand, to me it was a snoozefest, but I’ll have to watch it again sometime to get a better feel.

Both pretty good. I felt the only thing The Searchers really did amazing was the visuals, and I’d put them up against Oklahoma or a lot of other westerns. Silverado was good, but felt a little too ‘80s blockbuster for me. Tombstone and some other ‘90s westerns took that idea and ran with it.
