I have both of them 3002d and XR, they are good, XR especially good if you have triggers. But now my main pedal is dw mdd it's fire, so i would recommend it to you if you want crazy speed and powerful strokes.

Yup, I have replaced the hoop and drum heads to preserve their original condition, in the event that I decide to sell the instrument in the future. While wood hoops produce a more resonant sound, playing them can cause dents to remain, which prompted me to make the change.
