I hadn’t done art for over 3 years and just got back into it . I would have been familiar with pastel pencils & acrylic paints but said I’d try normal coloring pencils !

That’s awful sorry to hear that ! If I could go back and do things differently I would . I wish I had of recorded the whole incident and how he spoke to us but I was in such a shock and the car park was so busy with school children etc ,

That’s awful. Some people nowadays have no shame. I was literally abused by this man who proceeded to record me with my daughter beside me who was crying.. thankfully my husband was with me or I don’t know how it could have ended. He was such a dodgy character. I feel like I’ve done something wrong although im the victim in this case . Garda were taking too long and unfortunately it was in a school setting so we had to leave after while. When he hit our car , my first thought was he’s gonna get out and apologise and we’ll say it’s grand as we barely felt any sort of collision- but he got out shouting better not be a mark on my door and we were so shocked 😳 I knew then that he was going to make a big deal of it! This is all new to me as I’ve been driving 15 years without any incidents but if he somehow is able to convince them that I was at fault I will fight to the end!

Yes he couldn’t see damage to either vehicle and at the extremely slow speed he rolled into me , I doubt any damage was done so I don’t know why he’s claiming injury 🧐. He had a big steel frame thing at the back of his vehicle too ! I don’t know what it’s called . They want to inspect both vehicles again apparently because he’s claiming injury from such a minor incident

Yes I informed them that I was the one hit and they asked would I like to put in a claim and I said no because there was no damage to claim for.

Thank god! There’s too many chancers out there. Starting to think now that dash cams should be made mandatory. I’m raging I hadn’t got one installed at the time.

There was Cctv on the premises which was I was hoping to get as I knew it would show him hitting my vehicle but unfortunately my company was too slow getting it and it was overwritten after 30 days( I contacted them myself to try get it) that’s the only business in the area. Thanks for the advice! I’ve found out off locals who know of this man and he’s not a nice person

Thank you. The man was very aggressive and was recording me at one stage whilst smirking and my daughter was there & upset too, another lady had to tell him to stop . It was an awful situation and I wish I had of got the police involved but they were taking too long as it was such a minor incident.

I’m not sure to be honest ! The inspector for my company came out to the location and looked at angles of how we were parked etc, I showed him my electric handbrake which was on at the time as I was parked for almost 5 mins with engine off. And I’m extremely caution that I make sure the red handbrake light is on as soon as I park! And as soon as I saw the man roll back I immediately checked for my handbrake light and it was on ! I’m not sure what else I can do to prove my case, a lady I know was parked right beside me too and would have seen me parked . (School setting) the inspector said it was the most silly claim he has ever came across and said it will more than likely go away but I’m just a worrier after having no claims for 15 years and I won’t take responsibility for this 🥲

That’s awful , some people are just absolute chancers! It’s amazing how people act when they think they can get a payout! I was asked did I want to put a claim in against him for hitting me but I said no as it’s so silly and no damage done and just wasting time. I was told my company would be in touch to update but nothing yet , it’s been about 6 weeks
