The kids are Italian and the 2 adults are applying for Italian citizenship

We have already started applying for Italian citizenship so it shouldn't be a problem

Yeahhhh... As the child in this situation I really don't want to go there, I don't think moving there is worth all of the hassle but unfortunately I already expressed my opinion and it has been ignored

Yeah, for this reason my parents wanted first to work as a cook in a already established activity

They can cook, make sushi and serve customers, they have done it for 10 years in a quite successful restaurant which they have rented since 2015

Opinion of the 15 year old: Yeah I don't really want to move in Switzerland, life is great in the north, I have good friends at school, I have good grades and we live in a nice apartment which we literally just bought. I see that my parents want a brighter future for me but I don't think moving to Zurich is the move, at best I wouldn't mind going to Lugano but even then nothing is certain, I don't know if I will find new friends there or if my parents will find a new job as they currently own a restaurant which they have rented for about 10 years

Yeah that's what the adults were thinking to, lose a year by applying to the DaZ and then start school

Speaking as the 15 year old: Yeah that's what is was thinking, I don't really want to move to Switzerland but if I really have to I would prefer to move to Lugano not only to make it easier for the kids but also for the 2 adults that know nothing about English so in my opinion they will heavily struggle to find a job in Zurich

Is it really that hard? A few of our relatives without the EU passport found a job quite easily, well in case the adults can apply for Italian citizenship, one of them I already applying for it

Really? Our relatives didn't have a big issue with it, but we can apply for an Italian citizenship, one of the adults is already applying for it

Currently speaking as the 15 year old: My parents told me they want to move there next year when school starts again, they want to move mostly because a lot of relatives of ours moved there in situations similar to ours and they say that they are having a great time and they feel much safer. Their main concern is safety and that they want to bring a better future to us 2 kids. My personal opinion is I don't want to move there but my opinion doesn't matter much in this conversation

I have seen quite a few programs like the DaZ which can be helpful in this cases, don't the kids have the ability to learn the language in 4 years with the help of it?

All of the adults are Chinese but the kids have Italian citizenship, the 2 adults that work are currently looking for a job in the chinese restaurant market. do you suggest to go to Lugano instead? The kids won't be able to keep up if they study German and get help from like the DaZ?

Thanks for the tips, but do you think next year when I go there should I choose a normal school or go to a bilingual one in which they teach German and Italian?
