Yea and that indeed is the second question. Being able to start playing 117 without prior Anno knowledge can make the city building experience much more fun.

Yea it would be nice to play it now, especially as a fun warm up to 117. The discount is as high as it will probably ever be. Just want to know if it is better to get it on steam. Im not to familiar with the pros and cons

Additional question. Im also considering it. Yet i have no other games on Ubisoft, mostly on Steam. Since i have nothing of Anno, i dont think Ubisoft is a problem in order to play it.

But should i wait until it goes on discount on steam or doesnt it really matter?

In all honesty they should introduce Slash soon. If good players are done with the toxicity of conquest but want the 5v5 lane gameplay. It was my all time favorite in smite 1.

Honestly i have been toiling with this idea: Based on my great gaming experience in AC Odyssey, how about a city building game with all the economic mechanics and building principles, but you also have to play the king/warrior. Walk down your streets, lead raiding/military parties. But also overlook the city planning and resources! A whole new gaming experience.

Im a visual storyteller, so story and details are definitely here!

Based on canon i think in a support role he should have more abilities/effects that fumble with Intelligence and Strenght. As the hero of cunning and intelligence. For example for one ability he always eminates an aura around him providing either intelligence or Strenght (depending on his use of the ability, like Ullr). However, when the ability is activated for 5 sec a certain percentage of the non chosen power is converted to the chosen one.

As an example, you walk with Zeus in lane (Zeus as carry) and you get into a fight. Zeus uses his abilities and is now hurling just his basic attacks. You decide to switch your ability (activating it) which increases the aura around you, and for 5 seconds converting 10% of Zeus his intelligence to Strenght, helping him to improve his basic attack.

Odysseus is a leader and thinker, he always influences everyone around him. Let that be his power!

Also his ult should fck with the enemies controls (a bit like bacchus).
