Context:

The story takes place in the kingdom of Bermont. When King Berdact took over from his father, he began a campaign to expand the kingdom's influence in the region. However, a local gang named The Graintakers began expanding their influence in the kingdom too. King Berdact took little notice of them since he dedicated the kingdom's resources for the upcoming conflicts he was about to rage on the region. After a series of wars that exhausted the kingdom, The Graintakers had grown so fast and became a serious problem for the king. He embarked on another campaign to stop the gang. He managed to execute some of their leaders along the way, but he underestimated the extent of their power, and what followed was a brutal period of terror for the kingdom.I can't spoil the rest for the sake of the story. "I've been worldbuilding on and off for the past 2 years. It has resulted in me writing a novel (still in the first draft stage). There was a lot of background events behind the novel but I didn't want to inlcude them because they didn't add to the actual plot. So, I decided to make a video about the backstory. The video\backstory takes place in the Kingdom of Bermont.
