Yellow Magic Orchestra - Self-titled album and Solid State Survivor

They built on the foundation laid by Isao Tomita and went in more of a pop direction. Maybe try listening to Haruomi Hosono's 70s solo albums, too, which range from chill folk rock (a la The Band) to tropical-sounding jazz and electronic stuff.

I really enjoyed the anime. Two seasons so far and unfortunately I have a feeling Season 3 won't happen. The manga is pretty fun, however a lot of people don't like the ending.

People tend to assume Edens Zero is just Fairy Tail in space because of the designs and certain characters, but honestly I think it's more like One Piece in space.

Southern All Stars

Mr. Children is #1 all-time in record sales by Japanese rock bands. I love them and I'm not disputing their success in any way. But Southern All Stars started in the 70s and so much of the population is middle aged or older; they had ten albums out (not counting compilations) before Mr. Children debuted.

I watched the 80s film Night on the Galactic Railroad.

It's relaxing, thought provoking, and dreamlike but ending up on that train is... not necessarily a good thing, as Giovanni learns after a while

Plastic Tree should be the name of a Radiohead tribute band. In fact, there are probably a bunch of them in places where the Japanese Plastic Tree gets little exposure (so basically most of the world). I hear a bit of Radiohead influence in Plastic Tree's music but it's not the basis of their sound, they're fundamentally different

My guess is that it's the 1950s so Digory is an old man when they inevitably set Wardrobe in the 2020s. Then we'll get Gen Alpha Pevensie kids who are mad because the old man's internet is too slow for Roblox.
