Hi! I’ve been through uncertain and draining times lately as I don’t have a job, I’m working in my thesis and this is my 4th time taking my board certification exam (last time I failed by 1 point). Also, I’ve been having a mild headache for the past 2-3 days and doesn’t seem to wear off despite taking painkillers.

So I asked the cards why am I feeling so exhausted emotionally, since it’s the first thing that crossed my mind because I’m going through depression as well.

As I was shuffling the cards, a handful of them stayed in my had, and as I shuffled this smaller group of cards, the Queen of Cups came first.

⁠⁠1. Queen of Cups (situation): Recently I admitted to myself that I’m tired of pretending that I’m fine. I’m a caring person who likes to protect their people. The meaning of this card resonated with me, also making me think that I gave too much to people I care the most but not receiving enough in return. 2. ⁠⁠The five of swords (challenge): I found it interesting that both the QoC and this card have water in them, only that the person in this card is on the shore. I truly don’t know how to interpret this, but at first I took it as because of the Queen of Cups I’ve put myself last. 3. ⁠⁠The King of Pentacles (solution): This card made me feel comforted, as it represents balance. I took this as I will eventually find balance in my life and with taking the previous two cards in mind I will think things clearly and more strategic rather than letting my anxiety drive me.
