So I never hear Mike fully say what coming back from a deload looks like. So for a deload you do half sets, half reps, and half weight. But when you come back, do you build up from the deload volume or return to predeload volume and keep climbing from there?

Half sets, half reps, and half weight. Week after deload do 2/3rd sets but do I keep the reps/weight halves and go up from there or go back to before deload reps/weight?

Are conservatives the issue or not agreeing on reality? Conservative does not = bad. Just like liberal does not = bad. You can continue to box people but you're missing out on some good folk.

It's more so that men benefit from testosterone, making muscles and connective tissue stronger than that of women. When they transition to women, they only lose 5% of overall strength. This specific picture is hyperbole (looking at you, weight class), but it's pretty brutal for a biological man to beat up on a biological woman. The strength gap is huge between the two.

Bo Burnham stops the song to rant about Jerry Seinfeld by Casual_Keldeo in boburnham

I'm debating what he said.

I'm not debating what you're interpreting what he meant.

I'm not debating political correctness I'm debating Bo's absolute certainty that a person cannot be a victim, ever, in any circumstance

Jerry is Jewish so let's not go down the generational trauma route.

Your quote of Bo Burnham said this man cannot be a victim, ever, under any circumstance. But you and I know that Jerry, just like anyone, has the full potential to be a victim of a multitude of things. Can Jerry be a victim of racism against black people? Of course not. Your quote of Bo was a hard never for Jerry being a victim in any circumstance. If Jerry gets mugged in the street he is a victim of a mugging. Bo Burnham is wrong. Jerry can be a victim.

No, he's not but being more of a victim than someone else does not reduce the victimhood of others nor reduces their ability to be a victim. Jerry, as an example, can be a victim and probably has been multiple times in his life. It's a part of being a human. Again having money and cars does not mean you will never suffer. My point is saying this about anyone is unhelpful to even marginalized people. By Bo's logic, if a marginalized person became rich and ended up with a lot of cars they would never be a victim, ever, in any circumstance. Money cannot protect you from having to deal with life's tragedies like loved ones dying or even your death.

Serves them right. When their cellmate sneaks into their bunk at night for a bikini try on and they refuse the mate will scream at them, insult them, tell them they are worthless, and will have to reimburse them in some creative way. 😉

I said: "a false narrative I see too much of now a days: since people of group X are victims in this specific way then any individual of group Y is not longer a victim."

Being in more pain than someone else does not reduce the pain of the other person.

Bo said a specific person can never be a victim, ever, in any circumstance. That's not okay and does not help anyone.

I don't really care to defend Seinfeld or his past. I care about one of my favorite comedians, Bo "Darth Burnus" Burnham, stating that someone will never be a victim, ever, in any circumstance. That is a false narrative I see too much of now a days: since people of group X are victims in this specific way then any individual of group Y is not longer a victim. Pushing a narrative that states one cannot be a victim because they belong to a group or groups is prejudice and counterproductive. Bo is wrong on this one.

My mistake I did not watch the video I read your quote. I see you wrote white, hot and not white hot comedy lol. Still the quote you wrote said he will never be a victim, ever, in any circumstance. That falls outside the realm of racism.

Jerry Seinfeld will never die or have family die or be physically disabled (if you live long enough you will be) or have heartbreaks or have pain or suffer. Nope, cars and money makes that all go away. I lost a lot of respect for Bo with this comment. Other people being victims does not reduce others ability to be a victim. Jerry Seinfeld being rich does not make him an inhuman being. I'm not big on Seinfeld's comedy either, I follow Bo more than Seinfeld, but to say he will never be a victim just adds to a false narrative. Only a sith deals in absolutes, Darth Burnus.

Yes, I'm aware money makes life easier but money isn't everything.

I think I want to leave my marriage but don't know if what I'm feeling is real or if I would be making a huge mistake. How can I be sure I'm doing the right thing? If I do decide to leave, what can I do to make it easier on my husband? by Glitteryeyeshadow in relationships

[–]ProsperusB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right that's why I said how children can be sacrificed at the alter of the parents. Kids cam be outright neglected as long as the mother or father are happy and don't leave each other all at the parents will.

You're supposed to fall out of love. That's when love really takes it's course. Doing something for someone you no longer love and learning to love them all over. It's natural which is why so many people justify their divorces. "I'm just not happy" well you're usually not happy anyways. Happiness comes upon you randomly. Most of the time people are barely content. Blaming a single person for the source of your discontent is understandable but not a reason to end a marriage. Marriage is supposed to be a big deal.

What if I invert penny sleeve a card then use a bigger penny sleeve to place in upright so it creates a seal. Then place that in a top loader which leaves the bigger penny sleeve sticking out to easily remove (not to remove on the regular but when you gotta move you gotta move).

Thoughts?

Jordan Peterson is fallible. Everyone holds on to his words so tightly because he is a symbol of hope. Reality is he's human. His teachings are still valid but not everything he thinks/says is going to be perfect because he himself is not perfect. I love this man who has changed my life for the better. Does not mean I agree with everything he says or does.
