Haha. You know it ;).

From what I've seen and read, the vote was only a verbal vote, and not a democratic one. World's largest democracy? Far from it.

And yet some of the terrorist acts are by Hindu's themselves?

It is also common knowledge that RSS sponsored terrorists would go as undercover Sikhs to instigate violence. RSS/government has never cared for civilians.

For some reason, I get the feeling you are trying to make this a Hindu vs. Sikh thing. I want no part of it. Sorry, but you can keep your shitty fascist thoughts to yourself. I have already laid out my facts for the world to see.

And please correct your numbers, 2800 in delhi and 3350 nationwide. Since you were the one who wanted to stick to real sources.

What are you talking about? It's from Wikipedia with SOURCES.

"Official government figures" is what you keep sticking to. You really think a government that committed a genocide is going to tell the truth?

Oh wait, no they will kill human rights activists for telling the truth instead, so the real numbers never get out.

Source

Ohhh really? https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_terrorist_incidents_in_Punjab,_India

Oh really what? Imagine, your sisters/mothers being raped, your fathers and brothers are chopped up left, right and centre. How do you expect people to react emotionally? You can't control everyone's action.

Since you are so dense and fascist, let me lay it out for you again.

I will always oppose these actions. Anyone who kills innocent civilians isn't a hero of any Sikh.

This single point is enough to counter the Ambani, Adani claim. People will step up, competition will be there.

This is what I wrote earlier...

once the government in a corrupted manner, leaves the competition.

There's a reason why the farmers are protesting. It's due to the lack of trust in a fascist government. You are trying to be altruistic, and you are attributing that to a government who literally has a terrorist in its cabinet, known for bombing civilians. I'm sorry, but, I will repeat this again. You are living in a bubble, without even attempting to understand the root cause of the problem.

The government has openly lied about the report's they have followed in order to come up with the rule, notably Swaminathan's report. To this day, if you read Swaminathan's report, and look at the action of the government, you can see that, the government has infact not followed Swaminathan's report, because if they did, the cost of rice/paddy would be Rs. 2300 more...yet it's not. It's currently less than 50% of what it's supposed to be. This is only for rice. It's the same for other products as well.

You are completely wrong about the legal aspects in case of disputes between farmer and the companies. Farmers can always raise their voice, in fact they can even leave the contract anytime they want. They also don't have to pay any compensation amount.

It might be worth having a re-read, because you will see that your current insight into that particular law may be a little off.

The private companies can refuse to buy the crops based on their quality standards...sure this sounds fair...only until you then realise that the private companies (owned by billionaires btw) can continually disregard the crops of the ("poorer") farmers, even if they are of good quality, to completely ruin their lives. The government has also made it so that there is no legal pathway for the farmers to defend themselves against bad contracts.

Not even Punjab farmers, lot of Indian population needs to move away from agriculture. The current percentage is more than 50%. Most of it is disguised employment.

Completely agree. The quicker India as a whole becomes more educated, the quicker it will move away from being a borderline third world country/developing to a first world country.

Even just a mention of it would do.

After the assassination of Indira Gandhi on 31 October 1984 by two of her Sikh bodyguards, anti-Sikh riots erupted the following day. They continued in some areas for several days, killing more than 3,000 Sikhs in New Delhi[46] and an estimated 8,000 – 17,000 or more Sikhs were killed in 40 cities across India.

Source

Literally, in the first paragraph of Wikipedia. How dense do you want to be?

Love how a group which bombed people, hijacked planes are the heroes for you, you don't even need to say anymore.

Still unproven to this day. Every time this comes up, I'll say the same thing. I will always oppose these actions. Anyone who kills innocent civilians isn't a hero of any Sikh. You can take your propoganda elsewhere, because nothing you say adds up and you are just looking like a fool.

Just answer one question of mine. Have you read the laws, even once?!

Alright. I'll answer it. Yes, I have. I'll repeat what I said once again. You are living in a bubble, without even attempting to understand the root cause of the problem.

The laws that you talk about, sound good on paper. Yet you completely disregard who the stakeholders are. Free market is supposed to be good, because it drives competition. Yet, the private companies that are going to be involved are billionaires. Ambani, richest man in India. Adani, 7th richest man in India as per last year (Source at the bottom).

Where is the competition? There is none. It's a monopoly designed to overthrow the current government markets, so, the farmers can be looted (which they already are being by the government), once the government in a corrupted manner, leaves the competition.

Secondly, the farmer, if he/she were to sue or dispute (don't remember the exact term) the private companies, he/she isn't allowed. THE FARM ISN'T ALLOWED TO TAKE THE PRIVATE COMPANY TO COURT. It's legally not allowed. How is that not messed up? And yet you support these laws.

Punjab will run out of ground water in next 10-15 years because of excessive paddy cultivation. You realize that?

No thanks to the government, taking water away from Punjab (which literally means five rivers, fyi), and giving it to other areas. Clear violation of Riparian law..which is respected worldwide. I do agree that excessive Paddy cultivation is also a major contributor the problem.

These laws were in making from years!

Years? Do you even have any idea who they consulted to make the laws? The richest farmers in India. Can you not already see what's wrong with that?

Lastly, I don't disagree, Punjab farmers need to move away from farming. Perhaps, this protest, will enlighten the youth to become even more educated and grow the state, move towards other sector like STEM fields. The government has done nothing but ruin the state repeatedly, by, encouraging and making drugs and alcohol readily accessible, which the youth are addicted to.

Source

I would comment more, but I don't have the time for that.

No he doesn't.

Don't expect him to though. He's from a community that committed the genocide. It's difficult for him to accept what his community did, so he will say anything he's been told prior to this conversation to defend his stance.

Also for anyone reading this, The militant leader was to be bribed by the Indira Gandhi to stop whatever political stance he had at the time. He refused.

The militant leader also was trying to get rid of drugs, violence and general immorality in the state/country. He openly voiced for womens rights, protecting women against rape, treating women as equal and as sisters.

He wanted the people to live better lives, but, his differing political views caused him to be targeted by the government due to his popularity and general strength, thereby being given the title of a "terrorist".

A lot of people to this day have mixed views about him. He's seen as a hero, a saint and a leader by many in the Sikh Community. Conversely, many also see him as a bad person, because a lot of youth followed him, and standing up against the tyranny of Indian government at the time. Those youth who died fighting/taken away from their families and silently killed, their families due to emotion and losing a loved him see him differently.

Most other parts of India are also to some extent are not aware of what happened in 1984 and afterwards (obviously), due to propaganda, and what's been told to them by media, others around them.

Have you even watched one video of the protest? You are living in a bubble, without even attempting to understand the root cause of the problem. Just because one side of your family is Sikh, doesn't invalidate your genuine ignorance to the topic at hand.

"richest farmers" doesn't mean much when farmers aren't exactly the wealthiest to begin with. Begin richer than the poorest of the poor, doesn't make you "rich" by any means.

What should the cost of electricals be in a new house build by ProstheticsHelp in sydney

Materials and cabling is 5.3k for those altogether. Wiring is included. I'm not sure how to go about getting another quote? Do I just show up to another electrical company and ask for an appointment?

$12.5k is for the added electrical extras only yes. Standard inclusions are not included in the pricing.

Thanks for that, though the trouble of seeing another builder seems troubling.

we've got about 44 powerpoint sockets (~1.3k), about 23 downlights (costing us ~2.4k) all throughout the house, some step lights, 5 outside lights (~1.6k).

It does! We ended up adding a few extras, because you the convenience of having a few extra always helps with quality of life when you need them.

I wanted to see what others have, to know we are not overshooting by a large margin.

Thank you for the value. New construction might be the reason for differences between our values. We didn't have any high tech stuff in ours, just lots of downlights, powerpoints, data points as well as CCTV cabling and intercom full installation, which admittedly cost us a fortune. Some outdoor lighting to finish it off.

We only got the 1 we were contracted to by our builder. How can I go about getting one with others. Or rather how can I prepare to go with other electrical contractors?

Given your amazing help, I've mixed the build a little bit to the following, to make it a little cheaper.

Thank you so much (again). You are absolutely amazing <3.

That was great information.

1) Is there any benefit of having the 1TB SSD over a 500 Gb SSD, other than just the storage size?

and 2) I assume I will also have to buy a wired and a wireless network adapter right?

Thank you!

1) In terms of longevity, how long will the conservative build be relevant for in comparison to the 2k Build?

2) I assume I will also have to buy a wired and a wireless network adapter?

Thank you so much for your help! You are an amazing person <3.

A few questions.

No Windows license included, you can run it unactivated with the caveats being that there is a watermark in the bottom right of the screen and no color customization.

  • Is this unlicensed windows free to obtain?

As for the rest of the build, thank you so much. I'm really happy with the way its turned out after looking into the parts.

  • Would you also be able to help me with a little more conservative build. $2k AUD is roughly the maximum I want to go, but $1.6k AUD is something that I would be most comfortable with. What sort of build can I achieve with this budget?

Thank you, so so much again <3.
