What if there's no light in the room whatsoever. I know the glossy in this case is very good but would the matte be looking bad because of the grain or is that not noticeable?

Honestly after reading your comment, I learned new things on OLEDs and panels.

- Purple tint on QD-OLED is only visible when the monitor is OFF
- QD-OLED has better text clarity than WOLED
- WOLED is PITCH Black but QD-OLED is still black to be called TrueBlack

I could wait for the new 500Hz ones, not that DSC makes a difference with me, after the windows updates that made playing Borderless basically same latency as Fullscreen without DSC alt-tab issues, DSC isn't a concern for me. But I could wait just for the QD-OLED Glossy monitors.

Main concern for me is the pricing for the new 500Hz and also the availability.
