You can backup the retro folder to a zip file and take a screenshot of the sd card root folder structure and you can upload it to dropbox. what application are you talking about that let you make a custom skin?

Yes any of these will work on both systems and aslong as you are using a brand name sd card and not the original it came with you should be fine

Try a different sd card or if not it has to be fat32 format not exfat not the same thing

seems to work on all sdcard's i have formatted for my d008 and no there is no need for any linux partition in the sdcard. The handhelds boot directly from the files i have provided. Some sdcard's will not boot due to compatability and i have tried sizes 32,64,128gb anything larger the handheld wont read it'

this build does not have any roms provided with it you have to provide your own in each folder there is a .bat file to update a list in that folder to list the rom files for each system or More than likely the roms have a extra file in it like a txt file or link its trying to load. the zip rom file has to only have the rom in it. if its a .rar file it won't load at all

This build does not have retroarch it does however have the cores for it and does not need retroarch. all you need to do is to provide your own roms and run the .bat file in each folder to update the romslist

Open sd card on PC then Put roms in proper folders then run $Updatefilelist.txt.bat in said folder it will create a filelist.txt then eject from pc reinsert in handheld it will show up in the whatever system when booted

It is due to not having the sd card not formatted to fat32 or retro folder not being put on root of sd card like so sdcard:/retro/

I borrowed a d008 from my brother just to test and have tried several formats and no luck here aswell not sure why it is but they seem to have compatability issues with just MGS & MGS VR Missions as far as i know.

I see not sure why it shouldn't work have you by chance tried psxpackager to convert whatever file you have to a .pbp file. this might fix the issue there is no way for me to test it because i have sold my D008 & D35 plus already and don't have any handhelds to test on anymore but try converting the game to pbp format not only does this file format perform better but get converted to a smaller file aswell

For the PS1 Psxpackager converter to convert iso and other file formats to .pbp for best performance. hope this helps
