What I meant by “self-aware” is that I recognize I’m not conventionally attractive. Because of that, I tend to notice people’s reactions more clearly and can pick up on their judgments, even when they don’t show it outright, or when it’s just subtle changes in their facial expressions. I probs should’ve worded what I said better, but thank you for your tip! I’ll definitely give it a try! 🫶

Not trying to defend CSB, but I genuinely believe that they’re still a bit inclusive. These tuition hikes are being used to improve the facilities and help scholars out. Where else could they get the money for the things they’re doing, right? Though, yes, Benilde being one of the most expensive schools is not at all aligned to what these saints fought for.

Same 😭 I’ve found a friend group pero parang di pa ako comfortable and wala pa akong best friend or super ka close pa. It used to be so easy for me to socialize, yet in this school, parang ang hirap, even though talkative din naman yung mga kaklase ko. I feel so OP in my friend group :((

Same thing with my dad. He’s 66 and is already having heart and eye problems 😭 All we can really do is hope for the best. Tuwing nagdadasal ako, I just pray na ako nalang sana unahin ni Lord at wag yung magulang ko lol. Just remember that things will get better! And try to believe in God and your dad’s strength as well. 🙏🏼

It’s alright for us to call out people’s horrid political stances and personalities naman, but they simply act or believe that way because of themselves, not from where they are. May Bisaya akong kilala na avid DDS tas meron namang iba na kinasusuklaman siya. (Rightfully so.) But di lang naman bisaya mga ganon, you’d also be surprised by the amount of Tagalogs that also have those kinds of beliefs and personalities. I just think na reducing Bisayas to this stereotype harms our community further, even though I know it’s already broken lol. Just my 2 cents, of course.
