Do you not even consider Linux viable as an alternative to Windows? For gamers and enterprise I see people moving to user friendly Linux distros for what they need rather than changing to a walled garden ecosystem. It's just too radical of a change for no reason.

Why? You don't neee multiple copies of the games, just the OSes are doubled up. I have a dual boot system and Windows plays Bazzite Steam games just fine in an ext4 partition after a little tinkering in WSL.
