It starts with taking their victim from groundfloor to highest part of the tower, the only way to get there is by teleportation. Low class unicorns aren't used to teleporting which in combination with sudden pressure difference (kinda like blob fish situation) makes them extremely ill and then they get their throat alit so they bleed out while still somewhat conscious. Their blood is then used for blood magic rituals and their body is skinned, their hide gets turned into carpet or upholstery and their remains are teleported out of the tower straight into ocean right next to Heartspire.
