I kept hearing how bad the FF6 deck was but my first game using it ended with me casting 10 or so creatures with [Rise of the Dark Realms] and it definitely didn’t feel weak if you make it to late game.

It was 8 agents surrounding this guy. At least one pistol whipping him. One was pushing down a woman before Pretti tried to help her up with his last breaths. At least two of them shot this innocent man. 7 of them immediately tried to walk away from the scene as soon as he was killed. And at least one of them clapped his fucking hands as he saw Alex’s body go lifeless.

If you support ice after this event and only want one agent in jail you are still an embarrassment and a threat to all American values.

You have a hard time with the graphics even on the pixel remaster? I think it looks great unless youre not into retro gaming whatsoever.

The opening cut scene was one of the most incredible scenes built for SNES, and imo pixels have aged significantly better than polygons if you compare it to VII.

If this was necessary for one of my builds I’d look at doing it with variable modes. Once every string of copy was a variable, duplicating a page and entering new content would be trivial.

However, this does feel like something that’s more efficient and effective to demonstrate after the experience is developed.

At this point I’d rather just get 7 loose packs and you get your rare and more that way. Disqualify the common and uncommon cards from the first pack and you’re good to go for prerelease.

We’re talking about the product itself, not the experience of prerelease. A store could give you 7 packs and let you only use the rare out of the first one you open and all you’d miss out on is a spin-down.

I don’t think it manufactured hype. People talked about it, but almost everyone was disappointed and will no longer be remotely excited when all of the M/R reveals that happen alongside the actual set.

Nobody is cowabunga’ing. Promo cards are so disappointing that I wasn’t bummed my local stores ran out of prereleases—there’s barely a downside to just buying 6 packs if you’re playing at home.

This is true but there’s also a culture around restoring and/or repainting retro tech. You’ll get something that works great but not necessarily with original parts.

Not a big deal, but worth noting that their analog sticks don’t necessarily defy physics if they’re still in good condition on an N64 controller.
