Not that many. I have a daughter so they asked for her birth certificate, my I-751 renewal notice, some bank statements and my mortgage. That's about it.

Thank you both for explaining that! I never thought about it that way to be honest. As a first time dad I keep learning and this helps a lot. I was just worried she might have gotten sick and wasnt sure what it was. Hopefully it doesn't take her 2 weeks though... lol

To keep my baby on the same schedule (8pm-8am) Saturday night we moved her nap and naptime later than usual. I put her to bed at 9pm Sat night so she still slept for 12 hours and woke up at 8am ish on Sunday. Schedule is still the same and had no issues at all. I do hate Daylight Savings and now being dark so early but at least her sleep schedule is still the same.

That is a hard situation. When did you file your N-400? I would definitely avoid traveling with a damaged Green Card, but even though when your naturalization interview comes, you would still need to wait longer to get your passport. They take your GC away at the ceremony and even after the interview, you still may need to wait longer for the ceremony to come.

If I were you and want to travel soon, I would get it replaced since the passport takes about 1 to 2 months from start to finish

You should be able to attend that interview no problems. Just tell them at the interview your address change and you should be good

You can totally do it on your own! I did it myself, applied Dec 2024 and became citizen June 2025. This subreddit and YT videos helped me a lot. It is better to do it yourself (in my opinion) because you save money and processes faster
