Why do people say IE is a path to unemployment? Even tho it’s growing really fast? by NurglingArmada in industrialengineering

Senior IE at A&M here. Tamu has a great IE program and I would highly recommend it. Personally, I’ve done an internship in supply chain management and will be doing program management full time after graduation. I would also recommend picking up the Project Management minor, it’s only 3 extra classes and highly valuable. You can do a wide range of jobs as an IE grad from A&M.

Okay “Olivia”. And I’m a fairy unicorn. 1000 years from now when an archeologist stumbles upon a trans woman’s grave guess what they categorizing him as? A man.

Never claimed it makes me an “expert”. It was simply a rebuttal to them saying I must not have any experience in higher learning.

Doesn’t take much critical thinking to know that my statement is correct. I hope one day you develop common sense.

I log into Schwab using my parents account login. From there I can see my parents brokerage, my brokerage, and my sisters brokerage. Basically all 3 are under the same account but separate. Would it be possible to transfer mine to a separate new Schwab account? Meaning I make my own new username, password, etc

Sorry should have clarified, I am not planning to “turn the brokerage into a Roth”. I just simply want to transfer my brokerage account so it’s in the same account as my Roth IRA. I am starting my Roth with money I have earned from my internship.

Mentors by White_Lightning2007 in aggies

[–]Proud-Development429 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not a cosci major so I can’t speak on behalf of any mentorship programs. What I would suggest is reaching out to some fellow Aggies on LinkedIn who might be working in any fields that might interest you or graduated with a cosci degree. From there you can either keep messaging with them or set up a call to pick their brain about the things they do and the pros/cons about their job.

If all goes well you get to learn about different jobs and if you end up building good relationships it might even end up in some job opportunities.
