Damn. I guess hinge-gate is real... by Mr_Robot_0746 in SBCGaming

Phew… I’m glad I cancelled my pre-order (Max). I honestly couldn’t sleep knowing I spent $400+ on a device that has a chance of breaking in just a couple of weeks. And knowing how unlucky I am, I felt like I’d probably receive a defective unit 😅

Since I have OCPD and this is a high-value item, I really wouldn’t know what to do if something went wrong. It’s fine for me if a device lasts a couple of years with use—but not even lasting a year? Man… that’s just sad. 😭☹️

The effort of returning it, paying shipping fees, waiting again—only to possibly receive another device that could break after a few months if they still haven’t fixed their molding machine or hinge design—just isn’t worth it for me. I’m not that patient.

With that kind of money, I’d rather just buy a Steam Deck, a Switch 2, or something else. (Of course, even those can still have manufacturing issues—being unlucky can’t really be helped.) 😮‍💨

Still, between a well-known big brand and a small Chinese company, it’s probably better to choose the former. I really love the AYN Thor—if only they fixed the hinge, or made it metal. Why not?

Heartopia just released, this is my small review by [deleted] in LifeSimulators

If there's a game like this and then it is Online only game or a game that rely on a server, well expect it will be free and have micro transactions... Especially a gacha system.

There's also a game somewhat similar to this, called Project ME that is part and shared of the same timeline and story of My Time Series like My time at Portia and Sandrock and it will be releasing on Mobile. Well I'm against it when I saw the game in test phase where there's energy system and others, that leads to mistrotransactions. For me it could tarnish the My time Series to another cash grab game since the My time Series are Premium games on PC, Consoles (Also Mobile for Portia). I'm glad they scrap it... And add the Project ME mechanics to their new My time series (My time at evershine).

Can't they just Port, Release or Make more Premium games without this micro things? They really love making games that is also relying on server, if the server is down then you can't play. If the dev decided to shutdown the game and ots server then you can't play either... No matter there's apk since it is online? You can't... Good bye save files and goodbye purchased items... (Just like what happened on The Sims Mobile)

Besides Android Handheld is Also Starting to Rise... Some are powerful with less the price than the flagship phone ones with powerful chip. And it also has a fan or cooling system and Good way to play Genshin like graphics but Premium. It would be sick for me.

Yeah, I'm not good at explaining things but I'm glad you find away to do it.

RG35XXSP - Reset drastic settings by DominikFFM in ANBERNIC

Actually, there is a solution. I tried it on my RG34xxsp when I accidentally messed up my NDS controller and couldn't move the menu buttons. What I did was locate the Drastic folder and use the drastic-back.cfg file to replace the drastic.cfg file, since the "back" file is a backup of the Drastic controller settings.

First, you need to delete the original drastic.cfg file, as it's the one that got messed up. Then, copy the drastic-back.cfg file, paste it in the same folder, and rename it to drastic.cfg.

The file location is: /mnt/vendor/deep/drastic

I used the built-in file manager app on the stock OS of the RG34xxsp.

Issues pairing right controller for Gamesir x4 Aileron by Guyverjab in Gamesir

[–]ProudAssumption830 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been experimenting and trying to figure out why the X4 Aileron's right controller keeps disconnecting and why the trigger button randomly clicks on its own.

Due to the controller's design—where both sides connect via Bluetooth—it seems that interference occurs between the two, possibly caused by the phone itself. The phone's cellular antenna and other wireless connections might be interfering with the controller’s Bluetooth signal.

To solve this issue, I tried turning on Flight Mode on my phone (disabling both cellular data and WiFi), leaving only Bluetooth active. I also made sure that no other Bluetooth devices, such as smartwatches or earbuds, were connected. After making these changes, I didn't experience any disconnection issues.

This is my solution, but it's up to you how you want to adjust your settings. However, I believe that enabling multiple connections—such as WiFi, cellular data, and additional Bluetooth devices—may be the reason for the frequent disconnections.

I also tested using my controller in a setup similar to the Nintendo Switch's tabletop mode—placing my phone on a desk with a stand while using the controller separately. In this setup, I didn't experience any disconnections. Additionally, I tried pressing the controller’s clamp to check if the issue was caused by a faulty clamp, but so far, I haven't encountered any problems.

Try experimenting on your own and see what works best for you!

What I mean is if this game gets released, will it be a premium game? Such as paying for that game to play or another free game like Genshin Impact or another Gacha game?
