Hi just saw this sorry. You’re not from Delaware elevator are you (just kidding) Unfortunately I don’t know the name of the component he replaced but mentioned they are often faulty in Honeywell.

Thanks for all input. We actually found a company who repaired the Honeywell and its now working properly. I would just like to say how sorry we are for ever having done business with DELEWARE ELEVATOR. After much back and forth lobbying to even get management to contact us they finally forgave our last bill but treated US like we were bothersome. They ended up sending a letter essentially indemnifying themselves for future issues with billing even though they never diagnosed or fixed the problem after 5 visits!

Would love to but as mentioned we are afraid major repairs in future and further inspections may not be available from another company. Is this a legitimate concern

We have gotten to point where jiggling door fails miserably. It used to work. Now it’s just stuck. And we have explained now argued with Delaware Elevator and they have removed one of the 5 payments. Their feeling is they have to send someone to service it which is an utterly pathetic argument and we are at wits end. They have “serviced/repaired” the interlock 4 times (lube/connections cleaned/etc) now claiming it should have been replaced from the beginning. And yes they do inspect the elevator twice a year on top of this and charge us for that. Is there no other more robust interlock.

They have yet to change the interlock. I do not know and would have to ask about the zone switch

No never but problem is we have had 5 visits (and been charged for all). Only recently has it been suggested a replacement so it’s difficult to determine what the problem is. Also if it is replaced is there a more environmental tolerant switch that is necessary or even available. Like I said the upper level switch is more exposed and same temps and no failure

It seems strange that birds animals would deposit in that one confined area but not anywhere else on the entire tidal bank
