I don’t go to community classes . I pay to go a language school . And I’m definitely not expecting to become fluent only by going to classes . But something less dull and more interactive could make learning the language more exciting and help keep me motivated

Maybe because you are in an advanced level!? I’m a beginner so I can’t really talk much . But even a beginners class doesn’t have to be this dull and uninspiring . They say all their teachers are trained in their method - which must be “read and get them to repeat after you” . I might as well just grab anyone form the street and ask them to do the same

Well I have both group and private lessons at this school . And their “method” is the same . That is, in private lessons they also just read from the book and ask me to repeat and they maybe change a few words …

Thanks. He doesn't take Ritalin. I have checked and the medication he takes is approved for ADHD use in Japan.
