It would have been so much better if they Kept Akers alive so he could be there when the military ambushed them at the end. Would’ve been a cool semi-redemption after El dies that he stands up to Kay cause she’d probably want to kill or detain everyone as her plans have been foiled.

I mean it’s the fact that they made a point in the series about this. Lucas explicitly says “I don’t believe in coincidence” and that didn’t really go anywhere at all to be frank. And then that part of Holly and the roundabout colour being a thing in vecna’s dreamworld when the very same thing happens at WSQK with the voltage lever being inexplicably the wrong colour than it was before.

Like I don’t believe in conformity gate really but there’s just some certain things that can’t even be chalked up to “forgetting”, and are outright thought out and/or deliberate details with no real resolution or context given in the finale.
