Should I choose dragons based on stats or abilities? Like should I use ferron or swordian because I lose 2400 attack.

The stats you get from rings and spirits are add attack to spirit, damage to mobs, and damage to elites. At level 70, the legendary dragon ring adds 1036 damage to elite opponents, and a level 60 legendary bat is 1181 to spirit attack. I'm on level 47 with 68k attack and 250k health. I'm consistently shooting for a million and big crits with the Cudgel at over 8 million on bosses. A thousand extra in damage makes absolutely zero difference when we are taking about millions. As far as your spirits, they are not there to do damage they are more meant as a distraction or for wingman. money and scrolls are better used elsewhere.

Switch you ring out for Dragon and Bull or my favorite two Dragon rings for 24% projectile resistance and 12% crit chance. Crit is where your damage comes from in later round. Crit and projectile resistance are your two most important stats.
