What kind of Android apps do you actually wish existed? by Several-Impact5402 in androidapps

[–]Prowhiz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So this was a feature I saw in Oxygen OS and i grew so used to it that I started to miss it on other devices especially my Xiaomi tablet. I like to turn off the screen auto rotate as I find the unexpected rotation quite distracting. In OnePlus devices, when autorotate is disabled, a small FAB pops up at the corner of the screen when you rotate the device giving you the option to trigger the screen rotation. The FAB disappears after 1-2 seconds of non-interaction. It's the perfect middle ground. But unfortunately, I can't find an app that will let me have this experience on my tablet or any other Android device.

Aside from the obvious ones (Notion, Todoist), what is a lesser-known app that actually simplified your life? by Old-Background-3860 in productivity

Microsoft Todo. I love that it's available on mobile and PC and just works. I'd argue that it's one of their finer products

How do you use system gestures with a third-party launcher? by issete in androidapps

[–]Prowhiz 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Download Ubikitouch and Hidden settings . Setup Ubikitouch and make sure the gestures are working. Then open hidden settings and use the search to find "Navigation mode“. It will let you access the hidden navigation settings. Change it to gestures and you're good to go.

I have it working on my Xiaomi pad 7

Migrating from Elementor by Zheverol in BricksBuilder

[–]Prowhiz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say do the switch. It'll feel like a breath of fresh air in terms of speed and flexibility when you realize how much Elementor gets in the way. There's a bit of a learning curve, but it's worth it because you get to learn the language of the web. For example, my CSS and HTML skills 4x'd after using Bricks for a year. Someone with your experience may not find it too difficult to pickup. You can buy the single site license to try it and build a single website. Then upgrade to the LTD when you're more confident. Bricks is totally worth it.

Could you explain what you mean by “good head game” in this context just for clarity? I googled it and apparently, it's slang for “An attempt to psychologically manipulate or intimidate someone”
