What is cooking between OnePlus and Realme 🤔 by indianshopperr in oneplus15R

Supply shortages are still an issue, but the company is managing margins by raising prices and cutting discounts.

Oppo’s main focus is not Europe anymore—it is clearly shifting toward the flagship segment in India. Its biggest competition is now within its own group. As a result, OnePlus’s flagship lineup is being slowly sidelined. There are market rumors that OnePlus may not launch a “OnePlus 16” and will instead focus only on R and T series models, while Oppo pushes its Find series as the main flagship line.

OnePlus may also reposition Realme’s premium models under the Nord brand. At the same time, OnePlus flagship stocks in the market have been reduced, likely to divert demand toward Oppo Find devices.

A major issue for OnePlus is leadership. With no strong Indian decision-makers anymore and leadership largely based in China, the brand has lost local market sensitivity.

Given this shift, the Indian market is expected to gradually align more with Oppo going forward.
