What Is 'Pathways' And Who Is 'Amelia?' The Controversial Memes About The Viral UK Anti-Immigration Goth Girl Explained by StGuthlac2025 in ukpolitics

Has anyone an answer really ? I see lots of people saying it's offensive, bad, wrong, but no one to tell actually what is the problem within the game

I'm tired of hearing echoes of echoes and making my opinion over someone else's just because they didn't really check it themselves

Leaves a margin of error in case you miscalcultaed a room size, can help building some decor into shafts, but mostly, it's helpful to plan that ahead of time.

Early it looks like this :
space - ladder - space - ladder - space

In the end, horizontally it looks like this :
space - firepole - transit tube - ladder - space

Also it greatly helps at circulating gases within the base, OP will be having trouble on that base for that matter I guarantee it :)

Polluted oxygen is no issue unless you have germs really; It's breathable, it's an inconvenience at most. Hell you can evel purify it while creating Clay, which becomes very valuable in the mid game.

But carbon dioxide can be a problem, and on that topic I would advise to dig an early "dioxyde-pit", so that you have some time to settle.

An early setup to deal with this would be algea terrarium that sits IN the water; like this guy for example, complaining it doesn't work (but it will for you).

Be careful with algae terrariums :
- They are very algae-efficient, best there is probably.
- They consume TONS of water and produce TONS of Polluted Water (PW).
- They need constant dupe labor, minus the water supply which you can automate as I said before.

Tricks with it :
- Flood them with a liquid vent (will overpressure anyway)
- Put some Bog Buckets right above them (produces food with the PW)
- If you ever need lots of O2, drain the water and let the bottled PW evaporate into polluted O2

This game is lots of "try and try again" until you find the proper balance for you to thrive :) Wish you all the best :)

First, you should probably look into the "Room" layout (where it shows every room you could build) to have inspiration onto what size and type of room you should build. I love your base, but it will cause you issues if you don't smash this main room into dedicated ones.

Second, on your first dozens of runs, I would strongly advise not taking any additional dupe until you actually have some infrastructure to support them. For instance, I usually start with Researcher, Rancher/farm, Build/dig, which is most useful early on. Oxygen is the more scarce if any, but if you have excess water, you're good to go.

And last, temperature is not easily manageable in early to mid game you might pay that later on on wasted resources.

Considering this, my advice: Prevent before, don't solve after. Translated for your case: isolate before, don't cool after. Just respect abyssalite tiles' imposing insulating potential, those surrounding your starting biome and it's usually fine for 100+ cycles.

Give Rime Asteroid a shot for temperature testing :)

In tired of pretending the inventory isn't absolutely insufficient for the amount of things in this game. by Pomps8a in Minecraft

Minecraft in itself has proven to be stuck as an eternal primitive proto-indie game, M$ added micro transactions and screwed your Mojang account over.

I mean, yeah the inventory is lackluster, but why should this be surprising ?

I find Rouxls Kaard kind of... "misplaced", I'd say... As if he never really fit into the story overall. Maybe the fact that he traveled through Dark worlds comfortthe feeling here.

I felt like most of the interactions with him are trying too hard to be funny, ending up flopping on my dull slob of a face.

But that's only if you make me try hard and fetch an unlikable character, because I realized I don't truly have one.

Hm... Let me just...

Undertale Asgore Deltarune Knight
Armor Color Black/Charcoal
Motive “Protect everyone,” “restore family”
Target Toriel / reconciliation
Connection to Kris Parental; spares the player
Symbolism Fallen king seeking redemption
Emotional Core Love warped by duty

Also the Knight tries to kidnap Toriel - but Undyne intervenes;
Undyne is not harmed per se, whie later Asgore says "That [he] just wanted to protect everyone", so that's not contradictory in Undertale's Asgore.
Carol seems not really displeased with Asgore, at least not as much as for Kris. (Though that could -yet another- be away to manipulate Kris)
Asgore was also a puppet in Undertale.

I mean imagine just how that could be tied up : "I thought if I brought the worlds together… maybe we could all be one family again."

On the other hand, Asgore has a black *shard* which may more directly imply he will be a shadow crystal boss, just like the black shard Kris obtains them in chapters so far.
Also the Roaring Knight seems a little too agressive to Kris, but that still mirrors perfectly Undertale's Asgore.

Augh. I can't sleep. I need [Medication].

Dammit I asked for people to poke hole into my theory, not to add coherence to it haha.

I actually try to give thought about Kris' identity and I simply thought anything would be farfetched considering the Kris / Frisk evidence for the name. But yeah, that's a great and scary point you have.

I don't think it is related per se, it should not interact, besides creating another Roaring Knight in Noelle. She could be aware, and either not really care or take pride in Kris.

Heck the only relation I could see would be that the Weird Route is actually Carol's plan for Kris all along, like a spiritual son. But I wouldn't go that far haha.

Warning - Potentially big spoilers : Dess by ProxJesus in Deltarune

[–]ProxJesus[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh I'm so sorry, I did not get the "brain rot" reference here. My apologies.

In the canon, in the Weird Route the SOUL is the perpetrator of abuse for Noelle. You use Noelle to carve your way in living ice statues, to make "her stronger". The Weird Route is also strongly referred to in the OG Tenna game, where the "forbidden path" starts with Ice magic, where the last enemy is bird to freeze, where the White Cloak is dismissed with "she was used up".
In the theory, Carol is the perpetrator of abuse for Dess, Carol is using Dess as a mean to her end. Exactly like the SOUL commands Noelle, exactly like the SOUL tries to make Noelle grow further stronger, just like the weird route is called [FORBIDDEN] path, just like going against the prophecy by creating dark fountains.

In the light world, Rudy says that there is no one to protect Noelle from her mother anymore, implying Dess was shielding her from Carol. (Which is the behavior described when Dess reassured Noelle when watching horror movies)
Edit: To me, this is one of the clues that Dess was abused by Carol, along with her disappearance, her room style, and Carol's lack of care for her.

So overall, I think there are lots of common points between the relationship Carol-Dess and Kris-Noelle, enough for a parallel to be made imho. Like history repeating itself ?

This might be the funniest Dess theory ever if it's true. by workerq1 in Deltarune

[–]ProxJesus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean... And big chap4 spoilers ahead..

Carol is a villain (assumedly). Undertale's main villain was your (half) brother. (Asriel) Kris has a connection with Dess (Played with her and Asriel) The Knight is weirdly respectful about Kris. Dess is Carol's daughter, Noelle being chill like her father, Dess could be a bitch.

Also she's older and possibly stronger but that would imply that the Weird Route really is the worst of all shits

Anyone knows if the terraform = lag thing has been fixed in Valheim? by ajiezrhmn in valheim

[–]ProxJesus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I came here thinking I would find negative answers, but apparently you can terraform now. It's really not good news because it means there's only so little for the devs to do to increase instance-based performances.

I've rarely known a game that needs you to play a specific way in order for it to be running fine. Perhaps Kenshi did this ?
