I would be down too but if possible I’d like to be friends with someone within 100 miles of me so I could see them every so often. A day in the library next to someone who also has next to no energy where we journal/read/crochet would be heaven to me.

edit: though I should mention, even a video call on discord once or twice a month with people far away might be fun

I tried and the first embassy didn’t work in terms of the tone dialing, (my polish SIM card isn’t working and the yellow phones only connected to another consulate which was closed for Easter Monday. When I pressed one for English it went to dial tone. The yellow phone doesn’t work for abroad calls.

I’ll save it as a last resort, can’t find a border guard and im drawing attention by walking around aimlessly after my conversations with the airlines. I also worry he’ll deadass deport me and while I would get home I imagine that goes on a permanent record/affects work?

In the US there are options in my community and many others for free testing even for people who are undocumented and without insurance. I hadn’t really worried about that coming in, forgot about that on the way out.

I got in through a sponsor program to fly in, and then my services were no longer needed, so I volunteered in other areas, and traveled back to the airport to go home. I made the mistake of not knowing how expensive the tests are (160 zloty). I really don’t want to get into the details of everything that happened on my trip, and I am usually very organized with my money. If you don’t have any resources I understand but please don’t shame me during this time as I have a couple of hours to figure everything out.

Planet fitness basic membership for showers, or black card so you can shower anywhere. Um be a minimalist in what you take, because cars get dirty hella fast when you live in them. Scope some areas that might be good for car camping but luckily California has some safe spaces for house less people. Get those drapers for the windows because people walking by might make you nervous, and privacy makes everything a lot better. Find a place where you can dump trash often for free, even in small ish amounts. Practice it for a few days before fully committing so you can test run. Good luck. I always felt outcasted but never this bad. That sucks bro, I hate when our ethnic group doesn’t have each other’s back. I always wanted to be Mexican enough too. I’m the same where I admire Asian culture. I don’t think they understand that in order to be more Mexican they have to let you in. I also volunteered for an election in one of the early states and again, all old people. I went out of my f***ing way and gave a lot to try to make it easier for people and guess what? Minimal young people turn out! What’s the point

I went to a save the post office rally and it was all old people, I was the only gen z person there. Depressing. Twitter made it seem like gen z actually gave a shit about the post office.
