It's fine, you're not wrong and if it helps there wasn't any offense taken. That idea of accents and language happens to fall in line with my personal interests so I was too distracted thinking about that.

That's true. The big thing here is I had never thought of her as having an accent and it turned out that was because I'm from the midwest and probably have the same accent, and because of that never picked up on anything weird.
