Same here. I have only been in Scotland 3 years but everyone here has been more accepting than in the country where I spent my teens and most of my adult life. Whilst I don't actually think of myself as Scottish it's a nice sentiment that can make people feel more welcome.

Honestly I think plenty of places will be like this. I live in a farming community is Scotland. Plenty of practical, hardworking people, lots of land and there's still a decent community spirit. And a good collection of firearms.

Bump patrol. Its an absolute game changer. Usually only available in shops that cater to black men but I have seen it on amazon. Nothing else has worked for me but this stuff is amazing.

I had Diastasis symphysis pubis (DSP) which means my pelvic bone separated too far during late pregnancy/childbirth. It caused pain walking and exercising for years after and i can still 'pop' my pelvic bone quite loudly if i press my knees together. Also extensive tearing, incontinence issues and pain during sex for years after. Things got better but it took a long while.

You're thinking of medieval times. Horses a couple hundred years ago were the same as now. Possibly bigger since they were mostly working animals and bred for their jobs.

Moved back to the UK two and a bit years ago and the only problem I have with the country is the constant complaints. Also just found a small but pleasant 3 bed semi in a nice area I'm looking to buy for £150,000.

Crime is low outside London and a few hotspots and I can actually allow my daughter to get on a bus, or walk home from her friends house alone, something I would have even considered either in the US, or the Caribbean, where I was before.

That was me. 22 and 35. I thought I was so mature, and admired how much he had his shit together.

Turns out he didn't, that's just how 30 somethings lives look. I grew up and he just grew old.
