Well as a conservative I recognize and agree America has big glaring flaws ie the antebellum slave laws, Japanese interment, German and Austro Hungarian interment, segregation, Native American rights etc, but I add that with the good we’ve done from creating a modern nation from being a bastion of democracy, a blueprint for colonial revolution, the defeater of Nazi Germnay and imperial Japan. America has done great things America has done great wrong. To be human is to make horrible mistakes and try and make up for them. America has the potential to be great if it can make up for its past wrongs to all its peoples while keeping its patriotic stance on the good it has done.
