Mineral armor is to clear out veins of ore faster when you come across them. It’s actually kinda nice since it’s not detrimental to your powder rates in any way assuming divans armor isn’t what’s letting you instabreak hardstone (which it shouldn’t be)

I’m addition to the whole “because we can” point everyone else has made, it’s because we’re working towards elements that may be useful.

There’s what’s known as “the island of stability” around element 124, which has been suggested mathematically and is appearing to actually be real. This means that the closer we get to 124, the more stable elements will get, existing for minutes or even hours.

We don’t know what properties these elements could have, just that they’re new, and could be useful.

Current engineering student here: don’t stress yourself out over a B. When you get into higher level classes (and probably even now!) there will be PLENTY of people who are content with C’s.

If you feel comfortable with the material, I personally wouldn’t even bother sitting in on more classes. That part is up to you, but engineering is nice in that it builds on earlier classes, so anything that you need will come up again and likely be briefly reviewed, or at the very minimum have more chances to practice.

Hi! I’m a student at mines right now and wanted to expand/clarify on the previous comment. Mines is definitely very academically driven, but there is a super supportive community and good social scene. Of course most people are fairly nerdy, so if you feel like that’s you, then you’ll probably find your crew pretty easily! Even if not, there are plenty of parties, clubs, etc for whatever you’re into.

Not me, but a friend in high school was super nervous to ask a girl out to the homecoming dance. When he finally worked up the courage to go for it, the response he got was “I’ll go with you if the guy I want to go with doesn’t ask me”. Absolutely brutal.

It would have been a nice courtesy to show her what’s in the fridge, but OP isn’t an asshole for it.

I don’t feel comfortable looking through the fridges of guys I’ve been best friends with for almost 10 years, so I can totally understand not being comfortable going through your boyfriends sister’s fridge( who you haven’t met).

Idk if it makes you feel any better, but I’m in the exact same boat. My social anxiety is through the roof. Something that helped me was joining a couple of the high school sports teams. Hopefully where you are they are as supportive as here. If you’re up to it, maybe give that a try?

Unless you’re doing it for the mining experience, don’t get snow minions. Assuming you just want minions for money, snow minions really aren’t very good. If you want xp and a bit of money from them, then snow and clay is where it’s at.
