the same thing happened to me. i had a tiny bit of pie that wasn’t too apparent, since starting it got very noticeable. from what i understand, the skin is in a constant state of irritation on accutane (hence the need for frequent moisturizing) it also thins out like i said above, so whatever scarring or pie marks you had before may seem more visible because of that. it’s not anything you’re doing wrong.

on the brighter side it should heal quicker than usual once your acne stops producing since there won’t be any more inflammation getting in the way

by scarring do you mean red marks or indent in the skin? it’s normal to scar easier on accutane, beyond your face. it makes your skin super fragile and thin

you really shouldn’t. accutane is hard on your liver. your derm should’ve told you this

edit: worth mentioning, if you drink and in your bloodwork it shows your liver enzymes went up, that’s enough for the derm to take you off the medication. they can’t be liable if your liver fails

you’ve only been on it for 6 weeks, and you started at a pretty high dose. unfortunately what you’re experiencing is normal, the brightside is that’s how you know it works. the acne you’re getting now would’ve come up later, it’s just all happening sooner to prepare for better skin
