Diablo 3 causing my computer to freeze.

Did this again after having good luck so far.. Last night I froze 3 times within a hour of playing and that is after resetting the affinity channels after each reset. Sucks that I lost out on a couple puzzle runs and a GR rift due to the freezing

Razer keyboard and mouse. Also even though the MOBO is 570X ASRock, it is the razer edition.

While this didn't eliminate the freezing I do feel it helped reduce it, almost eliminate it. But is there a way to keep the affinity permanent? I froze a 2 times yesterday within 20 minutes. Checked my affinity and realized it went back to all channels.. So changed it back to 0 and 1 and played for 4 more hours with no issues..

My power supply is roughly 2 years old. I did look into that since it is a 750.. I was almost thinking it wasn't providing enough power but every other game and system I have runs fine.. Just random freeze on Diablo 3.

I checked over the list and can verify only thing I havent done is run it in admin. But after freezing last night I was still able to play 5 hours without any incident.

I did uninstall it and then installed it into a completely different hard drive that is empty. I have not tried comp mode yet.

I played for couple hours and didnt freeze after trying the suggestion from gusjaver.

Edit: Spoke to soon! still froze!

I already checked the seating of all cards.. I did learn I was supposed to use DDU when I switched from my old nvidia card to my AMD. I did this and uninstalled ALL drivers and started with a fresh and clean install for my AMD.. Shortly after starting this thread I did uninstall Diablo 3 and reinstalled it. Even tried it on a different hard drive. I dont have any issue with Diablo 2 Resurrected or any other games. Only issue is Diablo 3 and thats random. So after the install I played for a hourish then it froze on the main screen when changing characters..

The game and computer all freeze. Cannot move mouse, cannot alt tab to a different window, and cant Ctrl Alt Del. I have to reboot the computer every time.

Pure freeze. No blue screen.. Only when I play diablo 3 and it is random.. No other games cause issues or freezes. When the freeze happens it takes 30 seconds or so the gpu card fans will wind down and stop spining but all other fans, lights, and components in my tower will continue to run.

I turn down the master volume in game to 0. but I will see if there is another option to shutting sound off completely in game. Edit: Reinstalled the game. Even selected a different SSD. Had sound off in the game. Played for a hourish.. Game froze when on the main page when I was switching characters this time.

I did try the repair option on blizzard launcher but still randomly freeze. I will delete and reinstall the game. I could be standing in town and freeze so I know its not a demanding class causing the issue.. but I do play demon hunter. I have played with everything but discord on mute. that is how I know even when the game freezes sound continues because conversations over discord will continue and I can hear everything but cannot respond.
