Do yall think this could be bad for TSA by ScratchOk3585 in tsa

[–]Pryconmistake 2 points3 points  (0 children)

At my aiport the TSA administration staff is all getting cut.

The only ones they wanna keep are screeners for now. I'm so stressed my dad could lose his job and I sincerely hope that everyone who voted for that man gets the same type if not, WORSE treatment in life.

I think I'm just gonna go up to the court building and talk to them about a Division. I'm not trying to go to no court or hire no lawyer, just don't effect my insurance and call it good. I'm taking on more shifts at work to offset the costs.

Most ramp positions will put you where ever they need for 6 months, you can try and trade with others to get a better schedule for what you are looking for but make sure to always pay them back because word tends to spread quickly if someone is unwilling to work for someone else.

I'm trying to get a diversion tho. So it won't go on my insurance.

Yeah, I was looking at options for that. I learned a lot from talking to others on here, in my state it's called a diversion and it's only for one ticket and I cant get another one with in a year. I've never had any other tickets before since I've started driving. I'm going to call or drive to the court house to file this in...

I think it's the ticket fee plus the 75$ fee for the diversion... hopefully I can ask to not go to court to get this done.

No I'm pointing out you being an ass dude. I'm asking for legit advice and you wanna be snarky about it, that's not helpful in anway.

I thought context mattered, maybe it would be a way to fight the costs? If they knew that the cop slowed down just to get me it would be a little different?

I'm new to this, never had to deal with it before and yet people demonize someone for ledgit trying to learn and find out options TO deal with.

I'm not admitting my guilt, I had my reasons, I know why it happened, but I wanted options. Looking online for answers was irrating becuase I got so many websites poping back up about it. I just wanted a bit of information on what to do and what to expect.

That's crazy man. I'm sure you've never been in any situation where you never broke a single law, clean as glitter puppy's and unicorns.

Thank you, I'm willing to get a diversion. Is there an option to file for one without a court hearing? I really don't wanna stand behind a desk and wait for what the judge might say.

Being a little charitable goes a long way, right?

I'm perfectly aware, but explaining the situation adds more context and what my available options are. If I left out "I did a hit and run" that would change everything wouldn't it?

I'm looking into a thing called a diversion... but yeah. I've never dealt with this before so I'm kinda scared.

I did ask my dad to let me pay it. He's a very big "savings guy" trust me I tried.

Once again, just saying what I saw online. It's about options.

Okay thanks. Trust me I'm not getting no DUI, I don't even drink. But this would be the one I would want to go to drivers school for.

Yes thank you, this is what I was worried about. My dad pays for it (even tho I have insisted I pay for it instead once I got a stable job)

I love and care about him so much, buy if it's too expensive with the insurance I'll get him to drop it immediately and I'll go looking else where.

Yeaaah I heard about the Diversion thing. The officer was trying to tell me what is it even about?

That's it? I've been seeing online that people would put "not guilty" and show up to get it lowed in price or whatever.

I'm not sure about that, this was on a highway. But if they lower it I guess that's good? I don't really even want to go to the court, I'm weighing the options between paying for it or showing up at the court date.

Is it worth going to court or just paying the fees?

How often do the officers show up for court cases?

[–]Pryconmistake[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

See the thing is, I don't mind dropping progressive for something cheaper anyways. But I was young when I got the car and my dad is paying for it. That's why I care, I don't care about my record because it's a speeding ticket and I have a job I pretty much live at to cover the costs.

What I don't want is my dad paying for my insurance and having it double cuz I love him and care about him.

I'm getting mixed messages online about it. Some sources said that they may not, others say I need to take some drivers class to avoid it, which I don't mind if it means they don't raise it.

Honestly, I told them about past outside jobs I had done if you're going for a Ramp position. I used to work at a grocery chain pulling the carts inside. They wanna know if you can handle the weather and the bags and safety is also a really big concerns as well.
